On 3 september 2026, Houthi fighters started a large ground attack alongside 14 ballistic missile strikes and drone attacks in the western Taiz and southern Hodeidah regions.
The Houthi rebels tried to cut the road linking Taiz city to the port city of al-Makha (Mocha) and push toward the strategic Bab al-Mandab Strait at the southern entrance of the Red Sea.
Yemeni government forces and aligned National Resistance Forces fought back, shooting down drones and launching counter attacks. By 4 September 2026, the Yemeni army stated it had recaptured key positions, including the al-Khazan and al-Makahna hills in the Jabal Habashi district west of Taiz.
Saudi forces also launched airstrikes targeting Houthi positions in Taiz to support Yemeni government troops attempting to push back a major Houthi offensive near the Red Sea coast.
On 8 September 2026 the Houthis launched missiles and drones at four southern Saudi cities—Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jizan and Najran—including attacks on Saudi energy infrastructure. Saudi authorities reported 73 people wounded, including women and children. No Saudi fatalities had been reported.

US military destroyed 5 Iranian crude-oil tankers on 8 September 2026, in retaliation for attempted Iranian ballistic-missile attacks against a U.S. Navy warship over the preceding two days. US military also destroyed another 5 Iranian tankers in the week before 8 september 2026.

Saudi's say they called on US to help fight against houthi's twice on 10 september 2023, but US denied troop deployment against houthi. US is already giving military intelligence and weapon support to saudi-yemen forces.
On 11 september 2026 iraqi shiite militia's drones struck areas along the saudi oil pipeline near riyadh and medina, causing minor injuries to people and material damage to the facilities, causing saudi to shut down its east west oil pipeline.
As of 5 october, 2026 Yemeni government forces have beseiged Perim Islands isolating houthi forces there, and Yemeni government forces retaken Mokha, Dhubab (including Dhubab airport and surrounding towns), and secured the Bab al-Mandeb Straitwith help from saudi airforce and US inteligence support. Yemeni government forces have not retaken the Hanish and Zuqar Islands as of October 5, 2026, which is still under houthi control.
As of 10 october, 2026 US forces have redirected 133 commercial vessels to ensure compliance in hormuz strait since US blockade of iran linked vessels restarted on 15 july, 2026.
Between 6-11october, 2026 houthi's attacked various saudi airports killing 19 and injuring more than 320. Following Saudi coalition airstrikes on Houthi fuel and oil depots in Yemen (Sanaa and Hodeidah) on 13 october, 2026 , the Houthis launched a major retaliatory strike using ballistic/cruise missiles and drones against Saudi Aramco's headquarters in Dhahran, sparking a multi-floor fire on evening 13 october, 2026.

Soon syria, jordan and west bank will carry out a sudden devastating attack/attacks on Northern Israel which is the ancient Israel kingdom - samaria - Isaiah 17:14, 4-11, with iran nukes, on a day evening time, but Israel will hit back in revenge before morning that day, causing devastating attacks on syria,jordan and west bank ( Isaiah 17:1-3,12-14 ). Thus northern Israel which was the ancient Israel kingdom - samaria, which being devastated by this attack/attacks from syria, jordan and west bank will be dominated by surrounding arab enemies. Still saudi, egypt, gaza, lebanon along with remaining militia of devastated syria, west bank and jordan which shall be aided by iraq ( assyria ) will continue seige on southern Israel - Israel south to Northern Jerusalem - Ancient Jerusalem and Judah - Zechariah 12:2, Psalm 83:1-18.
Then God will suddenly and miraculously cause weapon malfunctions and confusions in the surrounding nations military equipments and soldiers respectively that lay siege of Jerusalem and Judah. This will embolden the Israeli military and they will cause devastating attacks on all surrounding nations ( Zechariah 12:3-8 ), specifically in gaza ( Zephaniah 2:5-7, Ezekiel 25:13-17, Obadiah 1:18 ) syria, jordan and west bank ( Isaiah 17:1-14 , Jeremiah 49:1-25), along with parts of lebanon, egypt ( Isaiah 19:1-25, Ezekie, 29:12,13 ) and saudi arabia ( Isaiah 21:13-17, Ezekiel 25:13, Jeremiah 49:8 ). Elam - south,central and western iran will be devastated and people of that area will be scattered to all nations of the earth ( Jeremiah 49:35-39 ).
Israel will also conquer parts of surrounding nations ( Obadiah 1:19,20, Zecheriah 12:6-8, Zephaniah 2:6-9, Isaiah 19:18 ) and will be at peace till the 1st Gog Magog War as described in Ezekiel 38:11.
Ezekiel 38:12 has already been fulfilled by restoration of Israel starting in 1948. And the Psalm 83 conspiracy is in the making from 1948 restoration of Israel onwards as seen from 1948, 1967 and 1973 wars of surrounding nations against Israel, which continued in low intensity till october 7, 2023, when iran and its proxy groups started all out attacks on Israel. This will escalate into the Psalm 83 war, which will result in Israel defeating and making devastating attacks on surrounding nations. Israel will also conquer parts of the surrounding nations -( Obadiah 1:19,20, Zecheriah 12:4-8, Zephaniah 2:6-9, Isaiah 17:1-14, 19:18, 21:13-17, Jeremiah 49:1-39, Ezekiel 25:13-17,29:12,13 ). And thus Israel will be at peace till 1st Gog Magog War as mentioned in Ezekiel 38:11.
From 2023 onwards iran has also restored its alliance with sudan ( Cush ), thus moving closer to their alliance mentioned in first Gog Magog War with russia, turkey and other countries, who shall fall defeated on mountains of Israel before they can attack Israel as God revealed in Ezekiel 38,39 chapters some 2600 years ago.
Despite regional variations, the overall iranian environment is restrictive, but northern iran stands out as relatively more liberal socially and culturally. Israelites will take 7 months to bury the dead of Gog's Armies in the Travellers Valley, East of Sea which shall be called valley of Hamon Gog. There shall also be a town called Hamonah. And Israelites will burn the fuel from the military equipments of the defeated Gog Magog alliance for 7 years. All these will occur as prophesied in Ezekiel 39 chapter. And during this time God will pour out his Holy Spirit upon Israel nation and Israel as a nation will look unto the God Yahoshua The Mashiah, whom they pierced on the cross at Calvary, Jerusalem some 2000 years ago and cry out in repentance - Ezekiel 39:29, Zechariah 12:10-14.
The Rapture / Departure ( second coming of The Lord Yahoshua The Anointed One in the mid-heavens to take his God's Assembly / Church from this earth to 3rd heaven) could happen shortly after this and after that the 7 year great tribulation period, second coming of The Lord Yahoshua The Anointed One to defeat satanic forces and set up The Eternal God's Kingdom First as The Millenial Global Rule The Lord Yahoshua The Anointed One of all earth from Jerusalem which shall continue forever after the 2nd Gog Magog war, Final Judgement of all, in the New Jerusalem, New Heaven, New Earth.
